We had a great time at a friend's family shoot....found a great new location, had lots of fun, and got some wonderful shots for them to cherish...all at the same time! Family shoots have such better results when you can just be yourself and have a great time...

My Valentines!

February's Valentine shoot was so much fun! These are some of my favorite little Valentines...

I could never post them all...there are soooooooo many that I love!

More Boys...

Since I have way more experience photographing girls (due to the fact that I've taken at least 5 gazillion pictures of my daughter! Poor thing!), I always look forward to capturing boys. They always seem to be a joy to capture and a challenge at the same time...and it's usually after sessions with boys, that the mommies are so thrilled to see the amazing shots we somehow capture. I guess mommies of girls are used to great pictures of their little angels, but mommies of boys know that it is usually a challenge! Just today during a session, I looked away for a second and turned back looking for my little man and there he was, halfway up a tree! But I got some great shots of him in that tree...and they will definitely tell a better story of him that I could have! Here are some more shots of "boys" that I love from a recent Picture party.

Valentine Overload....

After 20 plus Valentine sessions and digging through well over 2,000 proofs....I'm FINALLY finished loading everyone's proofs!! Thanks to everyone who participated in this past weekend's shoot...it was full of hearts, love, and sweets for the little sweethearts! Many,many pictures to come!

Sisters Shoot...

How much fun to photograph "big kids"! Although I deeply love capturing babies and toddlers, big kids are a joy all their own! So easy to direct, perfect smiles (no goofy, crooked smiles here!), and don't go running off in the opposite direction....what a nice change! Here are some of my favorites from a Sisters shoot....what beautiful girls!
